Manganese deficiency in animals leads to decreased feed intake, slowed growth, reduced feed conversion efficiency, skeletal abnormalities, and reproductive dysfunction. Traditional inorganic manganese sources such as manganese sulfate and manganese oxide exhibit low bioavailability. Basic manganese chloride offers advantages including structural stability, minimal degradation of other nutrients in feed, and high bioavailability in animals; its cost is lower than that of organic manganese sources, and its bioavailability is higher than that of inorganic manganese. It can replace traditional manganese sources in feed applications.
