Product Description: Selenium is an essential trace mineral for animal growth and development, effectively alleviating oxidative stress. Animal applications:
1） pig
Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC ) can cause diarrhea in piglets. Studies have shown that adding selenium to piglet diets reduces lipopolysaccharide synthesis in the ileal microbiome, reducing the diarrhea index and diarrhea rate in piglets.
2） laying hens
Adding sodium selenite to laying hen diets can improve the growth performance of laying hens, extend the shelf life and selenium content in eggs, and increase the nutritional value of eggs.
3） ruminants
Adding selenium to Hu sheep can not only increase the selenium content in tissues and produce selenium-rich mutton; it can also increase the total antioxidant capacity of serum, reduce the level of malondialdehyde, and improve the ability to resist stress.
