Selected plant-derived active ingredients such as carvacrol, thymol and cinnamaldehyde – containing no antibiotics – serve as functional additives in antibiotic-reduction and replacement programs. Through multiple effects including feed attraction, antibacterial action, gut environment regulation and anti-stress support, they help maintain animal health and production stability while reducing dependence on antibiotics.
Carvacrol, thymol and cinnamaldehyde possess a characteristic aromatic odor that improves feed flavor and enhances animal feeding motivation. This is especially beneficial during periods of weaning, feed transition, heat stress, or reduced feed intake.
Active plant essential oil components act on the cell membrane structure of harmful bacteria, affecting its permeability and metabolic activity. This helps inhibit the proliferation of harmful bacteria and maintains the balance of gut microbiota.
The phenolic and aldehyde active compounds in plant essential oils possess antioxidant properties, helping to reduce the impact of oxidative stress on animals. This supports animals in better coping with stressors such as high temperature, regrouping, feed changes and transportation.
By promoting feed intake, maintaining gut health, and improving feed utilization efficiency, the product helps enhance daily gain, feed conversion ratio, egg production performance, and aquatic feeding performance.
Plant essential oil components such as carvacrol and thymol are lipophilic. They act on the cell membrane of harmful bacteria, alter membrane permeability, interfere with normal metabolism and reproduction, and help inhibit common harmful bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella.
By inhibiting excessive proliferation of certain harmful bacteria, they reduce the accumulation of harmful metabolites in the intestine, helping maintain a more stable gut environment.
Plant essential oils stimulate the secretion of digestive juices and enzymes, helping increase the digestibility and utilization rates of nutrients in feed.
Active components such as carvacrol and thymol help scavenge certain free radicals, reduce oxidative stress levels, and enhance the systemic stability of animals.
